Presspool.ai – Terms of Service
Version: 1.0
Last Modified: 10/31/2025
Welcome to Presspool.ai (“Presspool,” “we,” “our,” or “us”). These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your access to and use of the Presspool platform, website, and services (the “Service”). By creating an account, funding your wallet, submitting a campaign, or using any portion of the Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms.
If you do not agree, do not use Presspool.
1. Overview of the Service
Presspool provides a performance-based marketplace that connects companies with independent newsletter publishers and thought-leaders (“Publishers”). Campaigns operate on a Cost-Per-Click (CPC) model. You pay only for verified click activity recorded through Presspool’s proprietary tracking system.
Presspool is not an advertising agency, publisher, or media outlet. Presspool does not author or control third-party publications and does not guarantee editorial style, tone, or placement timing.
2. Eligibility
You must be at least 18 years old and authorized to bind your organization to these Terms. You represent that all information you provide is accurate and complete.
3. Account Registration
You must create an account to use the Service. You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity occurring under your account.
4. Billing, Wallet Funding & Payment Authorization
4.1 Wallet Funding
All campaigns are executed from your Presspool Wallet, which must be pre-funded before launching or activating any campaign.
Funds deposited into your wallet are held in Presspool’s performance-based escrow system and allocated to individual campaigns at your direction.
4.2 Usage-Based Billing (Verified Click Model)
You authorize Presspool to debit your wallet for the full cost of all verified click activity, campaign fees, and platform fees based on real-time tracking data.
4.3 Irrevocable Payment Authorization
By adding a payment method or funding your wallet, you:
authorize Presspool and our payment processor (e.g., Stripe) to automatically charge your payment method for all wallet funding transactions,
authorize all debits for verified click activity,
acknowledge that charges may be processed without additional notice or invoice.
4.4 Finality of Campaign Charges
A “verified click” recorded in the Presspool platform constitutes a delivered and billable unit of service. Verified clicks are:
timestamped,
fraud-filtered,
tied to placement-level logs, and
recorded in real time.
You acknowledge and agree that Presspool’s tracking systems are the sole and final source of truth for billing, disputes, and campaign performance.
4.5 Dispute Window
You must raise any concerns or discrepancies within 3 business days of seeing them. After this period, all data and charges are final and non-disputable.
4.6 No Chargebacks / Payment Dispute Waiver
To the maximum extent permitted by law, you irrevocably waive your right to initiate or pursue any chargeback, payment reversal, or dispute with your bank or card issuer for any transaction conducted on the Service.
Instead, any concerns must be resolved directly with Presspool under these Terms.
Initiating a chargeback constitutes a breach of this Agreement.
4.7 Stripe Terms
You acknowledge that Stripe’s terms, policies, and dispute procedures apply to your payments. Presspool may store agreement versions, IP addresses, and acceptance timestamps as evidence in the event of a dispute.
5. Refund Policy
5.1 Wallet Funding
Wallet deposits are refundable only if no campaign has been activated using those funds.
5.2 Active Campaigns
Once a campaign has activated and verified click activity has begun:
funds allocated to that campaign are considered earned;
such funds are not refundable;
you agree that verified clicks constitute delivered services.
5.3 Unused Wallet Balances
Unused wallet funds may be applied to future campaigns or refunded upon written request, provided they are not associated with an active campaign.
6. Publishers, Editorial Control & Content Responsibility
Publishers are independent third parties. Presspool does not create, approve, or control publisher content, editorial tone, layout, or distribution timing.
You acknowledge that:
final publisher content may vary in style or presentation;
Presspool is not responsible for publisher opinions, commentary, or audience reactions;
such variations do not constitute grounds for refunds, disputes, or chargebacks.
7. Data Tracking, Metrics & Reporting
You agree that:
Presspool’s tracking systems are authoritative and binding;
click logs, IP filters, device validation, and fraud filters are final;
data displayed in your dashboard constitutes continuous acceptance of performance.
Presspool may update its tracking methods at any time.
8. Acceptable Use
You may not misuse the Service, attempt to manipulate clicks, create fraudulent accounts, or interfere with publisher relationships.
9. Privacy
Your use of the Service is also governed by our Privacy Policy. You acknowledge that you received and accepted the Privacy Policy at the time of account creation and/or payment.
10. Ownership & Intellectual Property
Presspool retains all rights to its platform, methodologies, analytics systems, and data models. Nothing in these Terms grants you ownership or license rights beyond limited use of the Service.
11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law:
Presspool’s total aggregate liability will not exceed the total amount you paid to Presspool in the 90 days preceding the event giving rise to the claim.
Presspool is not liable for indirect, incidental, consequential, reputational, or punitive damages.
12. Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Presspool and its partners against any claims arising from:
your use of the Service;
your content or brief;
any chargeback or payment dispute you initiate.
13. Modifications
Presspool may update these Terms at any time. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance of any changes.
14. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by Texas law. Venue for disputes shall be exclusively in Dallas County, Texas.
15. Entire Agreement
These Terms constitute the full agreement between you and Presspool and supersede all prior understandings.
16. Acceptance
By:
creating an account,
checking “I agree,”
funding your wallet, or
launching a campaign,
you confirm that you have read, understood, and accepted these Terms.
